Much has changed in the last 12 months, and immediately we think of Covid-19 right?
Well, let's put that aside for a second and talk about something that is the total opposite; something fun and fantastic for your body and mind!
It took me a while but I eventually found a Reformer Pilates Instructor and she eats, sleeps, breathes Pilates, just what you want in a Pilates Instructor right?
Who is it?
Some of you probably already know, having seen or heard the laughing or panting from inside the studio.
Last year Dean and I realised that Reformer Pilates was the 'bridge' between Chiropractic (alone) and helping patients to achieve their goals; strength, flexibility, improved balance, coordination, mobility, feeling good about themselves and finding their full potential. However, realising the gap and filling the gap were not as easy as you would think, Reformer Instructors are like gold dust!
We needed our Instructor to have a deep respect and appreciation for the journey out of pain and moving towards full potential, someone who didn't view exercise as a 'no pain to gain' venture, but to respect each individuals capacity for movement, work within their range of motion and tolerance and to explore and achieve improvements and help them to reach their personal goals.
So who is the new Instructor? It's me! Yay!
Almost 12 months after starting my Anatomy and Physiology modules and completing a Cert. 4 in Mat and Reformer Pilates, we are just about to Launch our New Reformer Pilates timetable. We have our offical Studio Launch on Saturday 22nd May at 11am and we'd love you to come along and take a look at our new venue for Reformer Pilates.
Pilates is for everyone and the only way to find out is to give it a try in a safe and welcoming environment. Come along on Saturday 22nd May, watch some mini demonstrations of the original Reformer Pilates exercises and have a tour of the machines.
