We decided to take the exclusiveness out of exercise! To make it inclusive, make it welcoming and for everybody no matter what your current challenges might be. Make it less about competing with others and more about just being the best You that you can be.
I have had my own challenges to face becoming an instructor, who doesn't look much like your typical instructor, being over 40 and not much over 5 feet tall and not as naturally lean as I used to think I should be but during my training I found that the greatest thing was happening to me. I was starting to appreciate how much more my body was capable of doing and I got to explore my new potential and feel happier and more content with being myself. I could move better during the workout but even better still I could do so much more in day to day life. Feeling happier and healthier just by moving more and moving better (safely), I find that my whole life has improved.
Moving around generally became easier, more enjoyable and I wanted to move more because of how strong I was feeling, more flexible, better coordination, balance and fitness too.
My reason for doing what I do is, I want everyone to feel like their body can do what they need it to and I want to help to achieve that.
