For Posture

The Importance of Posture

Standing tall, feeling energetic, moving easily, improved circulation, clarity in thinking, reduced or eliminated pain, all help to increase confidence. Good posture is important to your overall health and offers a range of health benefits not limited to improved movement and athletic performance but also concentration and other considerable mental and physical improvements. It’s never too late to correct or make improvements to your posture, especially if it’s contributing to one or more health problems.

Here’s just a few of the issues arising from poor posture…

$

Back Pain

Incorrect posture is one of the top risk factors of low back pain, affecting a large % of the population. Driving or sitting at a desk for long periods can put excess pressure on discs and other soft tissues in the spine causing a number of issues, not just pain.
$

Headaches

Tension headaches can be caused by tight tissues around the cervical area (upper region) of the spine resulting from poor posture.

Reduced Lung Capacity

Poor posture can result in reducing the space for air in the lungs, affecting your ability to think clearly and move well. Improved posture can often increase lung capacity to make breathing easier, thus making movement and exercise more achievable and thinking more clearly.

Reduced Energy Levels

Good blood circulation is necessary for oxygen and nutrients to reach your cells, where they can be used for energy, however poor posture can hinder effective blood circulation and reduce energy.

DENNEROLL

Poor posture isn’t just forward head posture from being on your phone too much. Your whole spine can be affected for a number of reasons, whether it’s caused by a car accident, a fall, sitting at a badly designed workspace or at the wheel of a vehicle for too long, abnormal posture can adversely affect nerve, ligament, and muscle function. As shown in numerous research studies, those adverse effects can be reversed by correcting posture, whether it’s cervical lordosis or thoracic kyphosis or lumbar lordosis, relieving pain and improving overall health.
In numerous clinical cases and a randomised clinical trial, Denneroll has been shown to correct abnormal lordosis or kyphosis of the spine. More than 2,500 chiropractors on five continents use Denneroll to treat spine conditions. Your Chiropractor will be able to identify the appropriate products and treatment for your condition and to work with you to create a clinic and at-home treatment plan to help you improve and have greater control over your posture.
